After nearly seven months of staff, student, parent and community consultation, Geelong High School now has a new Vision & Values Statement (see below). A Vision statement sets out the broad purposes of the school; where the school is headed and what it stands for. It is important that the Vision and values have been arrived at collaboratively and that they are both aspirational and inspirational. The School’s four year Strategic Plan, in turn, sets out how the school plans to achieve its Vision.
School level prizes were presented to the overall winners in the Language Perfect World Champs on Wednesday this week.
LONG GALLERY6-May-2013 The Long Gallery has impressed again with a fantastic display of art work under the exhibition theme OMO- ETHIOPIA. Approximately 40 staff visited the school’s latest display to celebrate the work produced by Barry Gillard’s Design 2 class, predominantly made up of year 9 students. The students had been working on the project since early term one so it was exciting to see their hard work on show.
