Venue Hire

The school has a number of venues for hire to organisations and individuals. All hirers are required to provide a Certificate of Currency which confirms that they have public liability insurance to the value of $10 million.
The following facilities may be hired.

Shenton Theatre:

The theatre has raked seating with a capacity of 138 patrons. It provides an intimate setting that suits a range of performing arts. It is also suitable as a lecture style venue. A rigged lighting system and a sound system are all operated from the control room. A projector which projects on to a large screen is also available for use. This venue has heating available.


SHENTON THEATRE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How many seats does Shenton Theatre hold?
A: Shenton Theatre holds seating for approximately 138 people.


Q: Where is Shenton Theatre located?
A: Shenton Theatre, a beautiful renovated, heritage-listed church building is located on the corner of Garden Street and Ryrie Street, East Geelong.


Q: Do I need Public Liability Insurance?

A: Yes, you will need to provide your Certificate of Currency prior to hiring Shenton Theatre.



Dance Studio:

The new Dance Studio features a sprung floor over layed with a Tarkett Dancefloor. A sound system developed for this space along with AV interactivity makes this facility very attractive for dance as well as activities such as yoga. The studio measurements are 14m X 9 m.




C.A. Love Hall:


The newly refurbished C.A. Love Hall measuring 17m X 24m with a raised stage measuring 8m x 5m is a perfect venue for a range of functions. A full lighting and audio system is available for use along with a digital projector. A kitchenette and toilets are attached to the main hall. The venue could be used for concerts, presentations, large meetings and conferences. The hall also has 8 competition standard table tennis tables which may be hired for use in the hall. This venue has heating available.




Gymnasium:


The gym is used for a range of sporting activities including basketball training, dodgeball and general fitness training.




Classrooms:


General classrooms are available for hire. They generally have seating and desk capacity for 25 people and are equipped with whiteboards and projectors. These venues have heating and cooling available.
